I wore this sweet little number to Marla and Joe's wedding this weekend in Muskoka. The dress was quite a hit, but unfortunately I crapped all over it an hour after the ceremony. I guess I found the ceremony a bit too moving!!!
Here's a picture of me with my daddy's Uncle Manny. I hope to have a great head of hair like him real soon. Uh, but not the moustache and beard, thanks.
Mommy dragged me to No Frills today, which I obviously did not enjoy. Whole Foods is much more my speed, where you don't have to bring your own bags. Those jokers don't even offer Air Miles!
In the last few days I've learned how to grab and hold things, which has been very useful in protecting myself from hostile Grappler Monkeys (see above). Daddy has taught me how to administer the Primate Nerve Pinch and escape trouble.
Our good friends Danielle and Jeffrey had their first baby yesterday, a good looking little lady named Talia. Check out all that hair!!! I'm so happy to have another friend to play with!
Below is a lovely flower arrangement sent by Jeff's grandmother.
Today, I visited the PowerPlant Art Gallery and saw this fascinating installation entitled "Baby #1 With Yellow Dog". It triggered strong memories of my eighth week of life.
Here I am with Mommy's friend Jill. Last time we were together I was in Mommy's tummy at Jill's wedding this past summer. I was well rested because last night I slept for 7 straight hours and gave Mommy a nice long sleep break.
Mommy's friends (Shelley, Helen, Susanne, Tasneem) threw me a baby shower today and I got a great carrot cake which I am still unable to eat. I was so moved by the whole experience that I cried for three hours straight. Sorry, Mommy!!
Mommy's friend Jamie Jefferson made me these unbelievable bibs. He made Mommy's beautiful wedding dress too. If you're ever in Ottawa and looking for some elegant couture, head straight to his store, Jefferson Sukhoo, at 146 Dalhousie Street.
My cuz Riley was dressed to the nines on the night of the Yom Kippur break-fast, but much to the chagrin of my other cousins, I slept the whole night and didn't get to play with anyone.
We all went over to Jon and Al's house for a barbeque and we got to see our friends again. I had a bit of meltdown and we had to leave before the Texas Hold-'Em game.
Today I took the folks out for brunch at Xacutti on College St. I thought I'd reward them for working so hard looking after me. Sometimes I can be high maintenance.
